Something a Murakami character would play in his lonely Tokyo apartment, sipping Cutty Sark, with a strange cat asleep at his feet: a video game inspired by the Murakami’s magical realism.
An independent Canadian studio BitByterz have created a game inspired by the stories of Haruki Murakami himself. The game unites magical realism and point-and-click Memoranda tells the story of a young woman who is slowly forgetting her own name.
The game will make its way to your screen only if it can be funded, so the team have turned to kickstarter to raise the money needed. So far, the images, music, and trailer look beautiful, and they might just tempt me to begin gaming.
oh my god this looks amazing! thank you for sharing 🙂 i’m not usually a huge video game player, but this might be an exception!
